My rumpalicious behind is still intact!

2 Nov

OK. Someone tell me what is wrong with this scenario. Beautiful barefoot beauty queen grazes with short scruffy pony in glorious sunshine. The Autumn leaves are a-crunching, the sun is a-shining, and the grass is tasting mighty fine. Then WHOOOPP! Some one comes along and jabs a large needle into me. Honestly, I didn’t know what to think. It was the surprise more than anything. I am just grateful that it went into my neck, rather than my rumpalicious behind. (This isn’t the first time this has happened, but rather is a booster – but I had forgotten about the Little Man With SHARP Finger. I shall look out for him next time and may well run away and hide. Or, I may try boosting Little Man With SHARP Finger over the fence. Ha.)

Once I had deigned to talk to my human to find out what on earth she was playing it, it was explained to me that all young horses need in-ocul-ations to protect us from influenza. This commonly affects horses aged two to three years old, like me, and results in gross snotty noses. So to avoid this unpleasant affliction, which would compromise my beauty, I have been assured I Am Worth It.
